Samuel Baudoux

Intern

Samuel is a biology student who holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in Wildlife and Habitat from the Université du Québec à Rimouski, Canada. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems at Bishop’s University, Canada. His training as a biologist includes the use of biostatistics tools, geomatics, and laboratory techniques in microbiology. He also has field experience in ecosystem diversity and health, telemetry, and sampling. His work on the ecosystem management of Lake Matapédia, Quebec, has been used by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests of Quebec. Samuel has had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous organizations, notably as a delegate at the international summit "0 Exclusion 0 Carbon 0 Poverty" organized by Gawad Kalinga in the Philippines in 2019, which addressed the importance of environmental justice. Samuel is a French citizen who received his education in France and was homeschooled while living abroad. He completed a French Baccalaureate with a focus on Biology and Geopolitics, supplemented by a minor in Mathematics. He volunteered for the Nordson Green Earth Foundation in 2022 and has been an intern in biology for the organization since 2023.
